Salary Sacrifice Scheme

A cost effective way to lease your new car

A salary sacrifice happens when an employee gives up the right to receive part of the cash pay due under his or her contract of employment. Usually, the sacrifice is made in return for the employer's agreement to provide the employee with some form of non-cash benefit. The 'sacrifice' is achieved by varying the employee's terms and conditions of employment relating to pay.

All of our schemes are ‘user chooser’ schemes, which means that you can have any type of car that your employer has allowed to be included. There are tax benefits for using low emission and zero emission vehilces. There is no set price list; all quotes must be provided individually from an application form, which must be authorised by your employer. All prices are discounted through our scheme and so dealer offers do not apply. Register for an account and once you login you will be able to search through the list of vehicles available along with the price we are able to secure for you from the cheapest provider.

The lease will usually last for 3 years. Some employers do allow other lengths of lease and you will be able to select this when you setup your account.

All quotes include Road Fund Licences, MOT's, servicing, maintenance, replacement tyres, windscreen damage, fully comprehensive insurance, breakdown cover and private use of the car. The insurance covers you for business use for this employer only.

the amount you pay for the vehicle is deducted from your salary before tax and national insurance contributions are calculated therefore reducing the amount you pay. You will however be liable for a Benefit in Kind charge which is lower for electric and ultra low emission vehicles. More information on benefit in kind is given below.

A vehicle supplied by your employer which is also used for personal use is a benefit in kind (see previous answer) and HMRC will reduce the employees tax code to recover the value of the benefit in kind.
